Serve Israel

Your Community or Organization Can Make a Difference in Israel

3_SECTION 1 GRAPHIC.png

In the aftermath of October 7th and amidst the ongoing conflict, Israelis need our support now more than ever. Serve Israel is responding with two distinct funding opportunities to activate and support your organization to lead impactful service trips to Israel in 2024.

Serve Israel aims to inspire organizations to send more volunteers to Israel at this critical time. Join us!

These grants fund transformative volunteer experiences in Israel where participants will engage in hands-on service projects, and provide vital assistance during this time of great need. Participants will contribute to Israel’s recovery and growth, dive into its rich cultural landscape, and forge deeper connections with the Jewish homeland.

Serve Israel is made possible by generous support from Jewish Federations of North America’s Israel Emergency Fund.

Seven to Ten Day Program Grants

Serve Israel grant applicants must be Jewish nonprofit organizations who are looking to take participants to Israel on a service-learning trip. Whether your organization would like to design a new service-oriented Israel trip or adapt a trip model to meet Serve Israel requirements, we welcome your application.

Not sure where to start? Please contact Sophie Hearne at Serveisrael@jewishfederations.org and we can support you in identifying the resources you’ll need from on the ground logistical support, Jewish enrichment, meaningful service, and more.
